Getting Started with Prospect Research
Learn how to find and research prospects with AI-powered intelligence.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you have:
- A Laxis account with Prospect Research access
- Target criteria (industry, company size, location, etc.)
Step 1: Define Your Ideal Customer Profile
- Go to Prospect Research > ICP Builder
- Define your target criteria:
- Industry / Vertical
- Company size (employees, revenue)
- Location / Geography
- Technology stack
- Job titles / Roles
- Save your ICP
Tip
Creating a detailed ICP helps the AI find more relevant prospects and provides better personalization data.
Step 2: Search for Companies
- Go to Companies > Search

Apply your ICP filters or create custom filters:
Filter Example Industry SaaS, Healthcare, Finance Size 50-200 employees Location United States Technology Uses Salesforce Funding Series A+ -
Click Search
- Review results and save companies to lists
Step 3: Find Contacts
Once you've identified target companies:
- Click on a company to view details
- Go to the People tab
- Filter by job title or department
- Click Get Contact Info to reveal email and phone
- Click on any contact
- Click Reveal Contact
- Email and phone will be shown
- Select multiple contacts
- Click Reveal All
- Contacts added to your prospect list
Step 4: Research and Enrich
For each prospect, you can access:
- Company profile - Overview, news, financials
- Contact details - Email, phone, LinkedIn
- Intent signals - Recent activity indicating interest
- Trigger events - News, funding, hiring signals
Step 5: Export or Sync
Export your research to use in outreach:
- Select prospects
- Click Export > CSV
- Choose fields to include
- Download file
- Connect your CRM in Settings
- Select prospects
- Click Push to CRM
- Map fields and sync
- Select prospects
- Click Add to AI SDR
- Choose a sequence
- Launch campaign
