Getting Started with AI SDR
Set up AI SDR and launch your first automated outreach campaign.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you have:
- A Laxis account with AI SDR access
- An email account to connect
- A list of prospects to contact
Step 1: Connect Your Email
- Log in to your Laxis account
- Go to AI SDR > Settings > Email Accounts
- Click Add Email Account
- Choose your email provider:
- Gmail / Google Workspace
- Outlook / Microsoft 365
- Other SMTP
- Authorize the connection
Email Warm-up
New email accounts should be warmed up before sending high volumes. AI SDR includes automatic warm-up features.
Step 2: Set Up Your Sending Identity
- Go to Settings > Sending Identity
- Configure your:
- Display name
- Email signature
- Company information
- Add any required legal footers
Step 3: Import Your Prospects
You can add prospects in several ways:
- Go to Prospects > Import
- Upload your CSV file
- Map columns to fields
- Review and confirm import
- Go to Settings > Integrations
- Connect your CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
- Configure sync settings
- Import prospects from CRM
- Go to Prospects > Add Prospect
- Fill in contact details
- Save the prospect
Step 4: Create Your First Sequence
- Go to Sequences > Create Sequence
- Name your sequence
- Add steps:
- Email touchpoints
- LinkedIn actions
- Wait periods
- Write your messages using AI assistance
- Set sequence settings (sending times, limits)
- Save your sequence
Step 5: Launch Your Campaign
- Select prospects for your campaign
- Choose your sequence
- Review your settings
- Click Launch
Tip
Start with a small batch (50-100 prospects) to test your messaging before scaling up.
