Getting Started with AI SDR

Set up AI SDR and launch your first automated outreach campaign.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have:

  • A Laxis account with AI SDR access
  • An email account to connect
  • A list of prospects to contact

Step 1: Connect Your Email

  1. Log in to your Laxis account
  2. Go to AI SDR > Settings > Email Accounts
  3. Click Add Email Account
  4. Choose your email provider:
    • Gmail / Google Workspace
    • Outlook / Microsoft 365
    • Other SMTP
  5. Authorize the connection

Email Warm-up

New email accounts should be warmed up before sending high volumes. AI SDR includes automatic warm-up features.

Step 2: Set Up Your Sending Identity

  1. Go to Settings > Sending Identity
  2. Configure your:
    • Display name
    • Email signature
    • Company information
  3. Add any required legal footers

Step 3: Import Your Prospects

You can add prospects in several ways:

  1. Go to Prospects > Import
  2. Upload your CSV file
  3. Map columns to fields
  4. Review and confirm import
  1. Go to Settings > Integrations
  2. Connect your CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
  3. Configure sync settings
  4. Import prospects from CRM
  1. Go to Prospects > Add Prospect
  2. Fill in contact details
  3. Save the prospect

Step 4: Create Your First Sequence

  1. Go to Sequences > Create Sequence
  2. Name your sequence
  3. Add steps:
    • Email touchpoints
    • LinkedIn actions
    • Wait periods
  4. Write your messages using AI assistance
  5. Set sequence settings (sending times, limits)
  6. Save your sequence

Step 5: Launch Your Campaign

  1. Select prospects for your campaign
  2. Choose your sequence
  3. Review your settings
  4. Click Launch

Tip

Start with a small batch (50-100 prospects) to test your messaging before scaling up.
