Getting Started with AI Meeting Assistant

Get up and running with AI Meeting Assistant in just a few minutes.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have:

  • A Laxis account (sign up here)
  • A calendar connected (Google Calendar or Outlook)
  • Meetings scheduled in Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams

Step 1: Connect Your Calendar

  1. Log in to your Laxis account
  2. Go to Settings > Integrations
  3. Click Connect Calendar
  4. Choose your calendar provider (Google or Microsoft)
  5. Authorize Laxis to access your calendar

Tip

Connecting your calendar allows the AI assistant to automatically detect and join your meetings.

Step 2: Configure Meeting Settings

  1. Go to Settings > Meeting Assistant
  2. Choose which meetings to record:
    • All meetings
    • Only meetings you organize
    • Only meetings with specific keywords
  3. Set your default recording preferences

Step 3: Enable Auto-Join

For the bot to join your meetings automatically:

  1. Open Zoom settings
  2. Go to Recording > Cloud Recording
  3. Enable "Allow cloud recording"
  4. In Laxis, enable "Auto-join Zoom meetings"
  1. No additional setup required
  2. In Laxis, enable "Auto-join Google Meet meetings"
  3. The bot will request to join when your meeting starts
  1. In Laxis, enable "Auto-join Teams meetings"
  2. The bot will appear as a participant

Step 4: Start Your First Meeting

  1. Join your scheduled meeting as usual
  2. The Laxis bot will automatically join within 1-2 minutes
  3. You'll see a notification when recording begins
  4. After the meeting, find your transcript in the Laxis dashboard
