Can I record meetings in languages other than English?

Yes! We support transcription in 30+ languages including:

Recording

How does the bot join my meeting?

When you have a meeting scheduled:

  1. The bot detects your meeting from your connected calendar
  2. At the scheduled time, it joins as a participant
  3. It announces itself and begins recording
  4. Participants can see the bot in the attendee list

Can I prevent the bot from joining certain meetings?

Yes, you can:

  • Add [norecord] to the meeting title
  • Configure exclusion rules in settings
  • Manually remove the bot from specific calendar events

Is the recording visible to other participants?

Yes, transparency is important. Other participants will:

  • See the Laxis bot as a meeting participant
  • Receive a notification that the meeting is being recorded
  • Have the option to leave if they don't consent

Transcription

How accurate is the transcription?

Our transcription accuracy is typically 95%+ for clear audio. Accuracy may be affected by:

  • Background noise
  • Multiple speakers talking simultaneously
  • Strong accents
  • Poor audio quality

Can I edit the transcript?

Yes! To edit a transcript:

  1. Open the meeting from your dashboard
  2. Click on any text to edit it
  3. Changes are saved automatically

How do speaker labels work?

The AI automatically identifies different speakers. To improve accuracy:

  1. Go to the transcript
  2. Click on a speaker label
  3. Assign the correct name
  4. The AI will learn for future meetings

Privacy & Security

Where is my data stored?

All data is stored in secure, encrypted cloud servers. We comply with:

  • GDPR
  • SOC 2 Type II
  • HIPAA (Enterprise plan)

Can I delete my recordings?

Yes, you can delete recordings at any time:

  1. Go to the meeting in your dashboard
  2. Click More > Delete
  3. Confirm deletion

Warning

Deleted recordings cannot be recovered.

Who can access my meeting recordings?

By default, only you can access your recordings. You can share with:

  • Specific team members
  • Your entire workspace
  • External guests (via link)
